Cheesy Macaroni & Cheese w Roasted Garlic Cooking With Carolyn

Hello and welcome to Todd's kitchenI have never been a fan of pre packaged mealsToday im going to show you how to make some thing from scratch and i guarantee its going to taste so much better then the pre packaged stuff you buy from the shopsSo join me as i make my version of macaroni and cheeseSo i have a pot of boiling hot water on the stove.  So the first thing im going to do iscook our pastaYou want to cook it until its al denteWhich means not to hard and not to softAnd it should take about ten minutes give or take so check it around the 8 minute markNext into a pot on a medium heatwe are going to place in our butter and we are going to let this melt downNow that the butter has melted we are going to pour in our milkThen put in our all purpose flourThen whisk it through to all the flour has completely dissolved another flowers dissolved we are going to keep mixing this until it comes to a boilOnce it comes to a boil we are going to turn it down to a simmerNow that i have lowered the temperature it is now simmering awaySo keep stirring for another 2 minutesand after that two minutes we are going to take it off the heatNow that i have taken it off the stove we are now going to add in ourcheeseand we are going to mix this through until the cheese has meltedand nicely combinedNow that the cheese has melted we are going to grab our pastaThat i have drainedand we are going to put thatstraight into the potand give it a good mix aroundand its done. and that took about ten minutesNow you may not realise this but it takes the same amount of time to make a proper oneas it does to make a pre packaged one, because most of the time is boiling the pasta. but guarantee you every time this way is going to taste one hundred times betterBut i want to give it a try right nowThat is so goodAll i can say isThat is a very authentic tasteIt is so creamySo cheesySo delicious But above allIt tastes simply delicious Now if you choose you can add some fresh parsley to it as well as some saltbut for me personally i prefer it as isI don't like to take the taste away from that lovely creamy cheeseThank you for watching this episode of Todd's kitchen, a list of ingredients are down belowas well as links to my Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages.  Please do my a favour by giving this video a thumbs upand leave a comment and i will see you next timefor another delicious recipe.
